Hi, I’m Joseph Lord—born and raised right here in Colorado Springs and the proud founder of United Home Mortgage. I created this company to offer a better, more transparent way for families to finance their homes—with honest advice, lower costs, and true customer care.

I’ve worked in finance and sales for over a decade, but my passion for helping people has always been the driving force. When I opened United Home Mortgage in 2020, my goal wasn’t just to do loans—it was to guide families into homes with confidence and clarity. As an independent mortgage broker, I shop dozens of lenders to find the best possible loan for your situation—whether it’s VA, FHA, conventional, jumbo, or investment.

My philosophy is simple: people over profit. I define success by the number of lives I help improve, not the number of deals I close.

Outside of mortgages, I’m a family man through and through. I’m a proud husband to my amazing wife Erica and the lucky dad of my son Harper, who keeps me on my toes—especially during baseball season. If I’m not working with clients, there’s a good chance I’m cheering from the stands at one of Harper’s games or spending time with my family golfing, bowling, or playing board games.
